Her Southern roots have inspired her to add a down-home comfort twist to classic French
training. "When I was a child Sunday afternoons were spent with my father and Julia Child;
afterwards our attempts at duplicating Julia's recipes were filled with the delights of
experimentation and laughter no matter what the result."
Ann Taylor manages behind the scene logistics utilizing sixteen years experience owning a
business. As a professional woodworker she knows the value of detail and incorporates that
with her lifelong passion for food. "Walking into my Nana's house I would smell her rich, thick
stew, sneak a taste, and tell her how good it was. My heritage is a robust French peasant
stock and my cooking strengths come from this background."
